Vosburg is an ideal stop-over on route to the West Coast or Cape Town from Gauteng. No traffic congestion here! Hunting is big in Vosburg. Springbok abound and a lot of farmers offer hunting packages.
This area contains some ancient Bushmen history. Bushmen paintings, graves and a rare Bushmen piano is on a farm in the district and can be visited. There is also a hiking trail to enjoy the flowers in spring after early rains.
The guest house is a renovated 1930"s house converted into 3 self catering units.
It is named after the original owners Mr and Mrs Myburgh who"s nickname was Die Katte BThe CatsD The units is named Haroldt, Tokkie and Jasper. BMr and Mrs Myburgh and one of their sonsD
DSTV easy view is installed in each unit and full DSTV is available on request. Braai Packs and breakfast are available at Die Ketel coffee-shop in town.
The annual Pan Fun is a huge off road rally hosted every December at a nearby pan in Vosburg and absolutely not to be missed!
