Whether for business or leisure, our accommodation at Fern Glen has something to meet you or your family's needs. We have 6 self-catering units situated on a spacious one acre stand, boasting lovely gardens. This area was a bird sanctuary many years ago and so has an abundance of birdlife. The rich foliage of the trees creates a natural sound buffer which results in a peaceful and quiet environment where you can still hear the bird calls.
The N1 highway is easily accessible and both the Olivedale and Sandton clinics are 5 minutes away. We have the Ferndale Village Shopping centre 500m away plus 4 large malls within a 10km radius. There are several churches and sports centres and golf courses nearby. The Coca-Cola Dome and Sandton Convention Centre are within easy reach.

Each unit consists of one large room and a bathroom with shower. Apartment has a bath with shower over bath. They have twin beds, a lounge/dining area and a kitchenette, which is fully equipped with an under counter fridge, microwave and an induction hotplate. The units are fully equipped for self-catering.
1 x 3 Sleeper self-catering units (approx. 30 m2)
(Mews ‘A’)
Thew Mews ‘A’ consists of one large room and a bathroom with shower and a kitchen. It has twin beds plus a single sleeper couch in the lounge area, a dining area in the kitchenette, which is fully equipped with an under counter fridge, microwave and an induction hotplate. The unit is fully equipped for self-catering.
The Cabin - Sleeps 4 (approx. 40 m2)
The Cabin is a 4-sleeper unit with one bedroom, bathroom with shower and larger Lounge/Dining area/Kitchenette. The bedroom has twin beds and the lounge area has two couches/day-beds, which can become 2 single beds. The kitchenette has an under counter fridge, 2-plate hob and a microwave. The unit is fully equipped for self-catering.
The Suite - Sleeps 4 (approx. 65 m2)
The Suite is a 4-sleeper unit with one bedroom, and spacious Lounge/Dining area. The bathroom has a bath with shower overhead. The bedroom has twin beds with additional twin beds adjacent to the dining area. It has a full kitchen with a family sized fridge/freezer, 4-plate hob, microwave and an electric frying pan. There is a thatched covered area with BBQ adjacent to the building which overlooks a small garden. The unit is fully equipped for self-catering.
The Cottage – Sleeps 5 (approx. 70 m2)
The Cottage is a unit with two bedrooms, one bathroom with shower, a lounge/dining area and a full kitchen. The main bedroom has a double bed and the large 2nd bedroom has 3 single beds. The kitchen has a family sized fridge/freezer, 2-plate hob, microwave and an electric frying pan. There is a large covered patio with BBQ/ Weber braai off the 2nd bedroom which overlooks the spacious back garden. There is a large covered area with BBQ adjacent to the building which overlooks a spacious garden.
The Suite - Apartment Inter-leading - Sleeps 6 (approx. 95 m2)
The Suite- Apartment is two units that inter-lead. It then has two bedrooms, two bathrooms with bath and shower over the baths, a lounge/dining area and a full kitchen. The main bedroom has 2 twin beds (or a king-size bed with mattress converter on request) and the 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds and there are an additional 2 twin beds adjacent to the dining area. The kitchen has a family sized fridge/freezer, 4-plate hob, microwave and an electric frying pan. There is a thatched covered area with BBQ adjacent to the building which overlooks a small garden.
