Do you want to spoil yourself and your partner? If so, look no further. Goblin"s Creek, situated in quiet peaceful surroundings, welcomes guests with a sherry on arrival. As you enter the spacious and very comfortable sitting room, big comfy sofas invitingly beckon you to sit cosily with your sherry in front of a roaring log fire in the wintertime. Or, equally inviting in the summertime, light and airy with French doors opening onto the large surrounding verandah and garden. Under a huge old tree is an ideal shady spot to relax close to the swimming pool. The nearby beach is ideal for strolling and viewing the calving whales that come from August to years end and also large schools of dolphins.
Goblin"s Creek boasts four magnificent bedrooms designed for the romantic at heart. Doors lead outdoors from all rooms, two seawards and two into a private Koi pond garden. Each room has a huge king size four-poster bed draped with silk mosquito netting, puffy down duvet with white percale covering and of course a log fireplace. The rooms have their own bathroom with old-fashioned ball and claw baths and lots of candles to complete the setting, making bedtime and bath time an absolute indulgence! Drift off to sleep to the sound of the waves of the nearby beach and the calling of the seagulls.
Open plan to the sitting room and dining area is the large pleasant farm style kitchen for self catering purposes, equipped with all you could need, giving a free flow for easy and relaxed socialising. The smell of homemade rusks baking often fills the kitchen inviting guests to brew a cup of delicious aromatic coffee and dunk a rusk, which is available to guests at all times. For early risers an ideal place to relax and enjoy that first cuppa is the large front verandah running the full frontage of the house. From here watch the splendid sunrises or on a perfect evening enjoy a sundowner and the sound of the many different birds as the dusk settles into darkness. All in all the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.
