High on a hill in Africa, Strawberry Hill lies on the historic Seven Passes (Old George-Knysna) Road midway between George and Wilderness. 75 hectares in extent, it is largely covered by afromontane forest. It is bounded by the Kaaimans and Silver Rivers There are extensive views across ravine and forest to the Outeniqua mountains with glimpses of the Indian Ocean. Apparently in the middle of nowhere, it is close to everything and is the ideal base from which to explore the Garden Route.
Accommodation consists of 2 fully equipped self-catering cottages each with its own large garden including barbecue facilities. The cottages are fully serviced daily, Firewood and charcoal are provided. Kalander Cottage sleeps 6 adults in 3 bedrooms. It has a playground for small children.

/.Witch Hazel Cottage sleeps 4 adults in 2 separate bedrooms. There is a small bedroom with 2 bunk beds for children. Each cottage has a large living room, fireplace, dining room, TV, music centre, etc. Restaurants and shops are 10-15 min drive away. Mr Delivery man will deliver meals from selected restaurants..
There is a swimming pool with thatched gazebo to enjoy on hot days,. There is a private 2 hour hiking trail on the property. This wanders through forest and along the Silver River to a small waterfall with a beautiful swimming pool below.
