The Bull Run serves top quality, maturely aged meat, specializing in prime cuts of choice meat; rump, sirloin, fillet, T-bone, rib-eye and fillet mignon. All meat and biltong, is hand-cut by our In-house butcher, Karl-Heinz Leske on the premises daily. The Bull Run also vacuum packs it to specific requirements, for both local and international guests.
Executive Chef Jacques Etsebeth, makes not only traditional meat dishes, but also caters to seafood lovers with fine selection of aquatic treats, and for non meat-eaters there is superb selection of salads and vegetarian dishes.
The Bull Run Restaurant is a proud owner of an award winning wine list which gives wine lovers something to look forward to. In addition to that The Bull Run also offers a fine selection of Cigars, Whiskeys and Cognacs.
Our Kitchen, Meat-cooler and Butchery are in plain sight for all guests to see. Restaurant is divided in to two main inside sections, an upper level and lover level on the same floor split by a central bar area. The lover section seats approximately 70 guests and the upper section seats approximately 150 guests.
For sunny days our guests can make use of the terrace to enjoy an exotic cocktail or a bottle of Champagne and indulge with plate of fresh Luderitz Oysters. The terrace is in walking distance from the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, and seats 40 guests. The interior décor consists of fine wood and face bricks, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The fireplace adds to the atmosphere, when it’s lit during the colder months.
