Vivant Student Hostel is set in the heart of Observatory on the outskirts of CBD. Famed for its bohemian and eclectic feel obs as it is affectionately known is the ideal base from which to explore the Cape.
Its wealth of bars,restaurants and cafes make it particularly attractive to travellers whilst its proximity to UCT means it provides a clean and comfortable stay for short term students
The accommodation provides 25 beds in seven en suite rooms including two dormitories. There are doors from some rooms and the lounge taking you onto the balcony which allows you to survey the hustle and bustle of Observatory below.
There is a fully equipped self service kitchen with washing machine,fridges etc and being on the first floor and with key pad entry system security is good.
The unit is cleaned daily and has a wireless internet access available. There is a TV lounge with TVDVD and a separate dining area for use.
It is very much a self catering hostel although there is staff availablle on site but with the emphasis of leaving our guests to their own devices.
