The Bennington forms part of Museum Park, which occupies the Old Fire Station Complex. Three of the flats which were formerly occupied by married firemen have been converted to the Bennington Bed and Breakfast
The rest of the complex is occupied by community projects including a Tourist Information Bureau. The Transvaal Museum, National Cultural History Museum and City Hall are within walking distance, as is Pretoria Central Railway Station.
the complex houses some of the former fire fighting equipment, including two fire engines.
