Fly Fishing
Kloofzicht boasts with a fly-fishing academy and the experience of a lifetime awaits you, regardless of your level of expertise. Pack your hiking shoes, walking stick, binoculars and bird book and enjoy terrific views from the top of the mountain or take pleasure in the unspoilt nature within the Blaauwbank Spruit ravine.
Little People
‘Little People’ are always welcome at Kloofzicht Lodge. On arrival at Kloofzicht Lodge, all ‘Little People’ receive a Welcome Pack, which contains lots of goodies to help keep them entertained. We know ‘Little People’ can’t possibly eat as much as Big People and a special kiddies menu including items such as pizza, toasties and pasta is available upon request. A babysitting service is available at an additional charge, however, please be aware that off-duty staff who have experience with children will be used for this.

Your dedicated events co-ordinator will assist with the finer detail of your function. During your initial visit to view our facilities we will discuss with you, over a steaming cup of tea or coffee, the general details of your day. By the end of your second visit we will have covered all the arrangements for the day. If you feel that further meetings are needed to resolve any uncertainties, we will only be too happy to set your mind at ease.
Conferences
Kloofzicht Lodge is the ideal venue for upmarket conferences, special functions or product launches. The eight conference rooms, complete with state of the art conference facilities, seat between 10 – 120 delegates. Allow the highly trained and experienced staff of Kloofzicht Lodge to take care of all the details to ensure a stress free event, from catering to décor.
A wonderful alternative to enjoy the African outdoors is the boma, perfect for team building and special occasions. Authentic African meals are served, and guests are provided with warm blankets for chilly winter evenings around the boma fire.
The venue includes basic equipment (overhead projectors, screens, flipcharts and whiteboards). Additional equipment is available and rates are supplied on request. A variety of different teambuilding areas available.
Accommodation
With sweeping views over the Zwartkops mountain range and fly fishing dams, Kloofzicht Lodge epitomizes five star luxury in a relaxed country environment. A combination of textured interiors, sandstone tiles, majestic mahogany and bold warm fabric colours are carried throughout the interior of the lodge. All suites have en-suite bathrooms and the Family Suites have underfloor heating and heated towel rails.
