The Protea Hotel Parktonian offers a wide variety of services to ensure a successful and memorable stay, be it for business or leisure. The hotel is situated in Braamfontein, allowing for easy access to major highways, universities, sporting stadiums, exhibition centres and theatres. The conference, exhibition and meeting venues will provide you with all the sophistication and flexibility you need to ensure a problem-free function. The largest venue can hold up to 450 delegates.

Accommodation

The hotel has 300 one bedroomed suites with separate lounge, bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and work desk. A bar fridge, flat screen TV (with DSTV), digital safe, complimentary tea/coffee, complimentary bathroom amenities, air-conditioning / heating and two telephones are standard in each suite. Stay in a suite for the price of a normal room. Complimentary early check-in or late check-out can be arranged.

Dining

The Orchards Restaurant is the ideal breakfast, lunch and dinner venue with seating for up to 250 people. The external wooden deck offers outside eating facilities during the warm summer months. Choose from the extensive buffet or from the A La Carte Menu. The Meridians Bar and Skylevel Cocktail Bar serve value for money light meals.

Facilities

The Skylevel, situated on the roof, offers a heated swimming pool, sun loungers, gym, golf putting green and cocktail bar serving light meals. This is a platform for magnificent panoramic views of the 'Jozi' skyline.

Undercover parking is available for 440 vehicles. Transport can be arranged to / from OR Tambo Airport as well as to other destinations required. A complimentary evening shuttle bus (Monday – Friday) is offered to guests wanting to visit entertainment areas in the vicinity. There is a fully equipped Business Centre and secretarial services can be arranged.

With conference facilities for up to 450 delegates, undercover parking for 44 0 vehicles, exhibition space of 900 square metres we can accommodate all functions from a small boardroom meeting to a large conference.
