Our concept is based on the authentic Mozambique “Barraca” which, in English, means “hut”. In Mozambique, in a home or on the street, eating, drinking and chilling is the way of life that is captured in a “Barraca”.

We bring together exciting food and drink in a unique fusion of Afro-Porto flavors. To ensure our food is always the best, we use only the freshest and finest ingredients. Each sauce is freshly made on order. No compromise. No substitute.

Our menu offers food for meat and seafood lovers alike. Our famous grilled chickens are marinated in our unique Afro Porto flavor to be enjoyed with Jasmine coconut rice.
We aim to take all our patrons taste buds on a Mo-zam adventure, in an explosion of taste. Our purpose is to provide our patrons with superb cuisine in an ambiance reminiscent of the spirit of adventure, flavor and a way of life of Mozambique.

No frills, some spills, plenty of laughs and an appreciation for the wisdom of simplicity is what we want to portray. So that’s what we have created – a chill zone reminiscent of hot sunshine, white sands, prawns and beer.
