Robala Guesthouse offers Exclusive Accommodation to the local and international industry and traveler in Hartbeespoort. Personally run by owners Leni and Andre de Klerk. The Farm Bokfontein has been in the family Since 1911 and handed down over the years from Grandmother Johanna Magdalena Raats. This remarkable lady lived to the ripe old age of 92. She was constantly active on the farm alone, she farmed, baked and built whatever needed building without complaining. Leni de Klerk, one of your host, at this fine establishment is the grand daughter of this remarkable lady.
Andre and Leni after much consideration decided that a guest house on the farm would be a wonderful idea. Work began in earnest on the renovation and thus Robala Guest House was born. There is now a sense of old meets new, which provides a relaxing and calming feel. One of the accolades earned by Leni and Andre since they have created this fine Guest House is that in January 2009 Robala was graded 4 Star by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa.
Robala Guest House was built in 2002 on the foundations of the old farm house. Portion 152 of Bokfontein 42. The word Robala means Place of Rest Hartbeespoort is undoubtedly a beautiful place to live and visit. To ensure further generations also have the opportunity to enjoy it, we endeavor to play our part in conserving the natural resources by actively participating in sustainable tourism.
