Tasting Room
Come and discover wines which been created by Nature and crafted by our Cellar Master, Nico Van der Merwe to produce that special quality that can be tasted in each of our award winning wines. Saxenburg wines are bases on a simple philosophy “a wine signifies a place, what the French called torroir. The better the place is known and understood the better the wine”.
The tasting room has a warm and homely imbues which is the perfect place for family and friends to meet for a wine tasting or just to enjoy a glass of our award winning wine.
We go out of our way to accommodate tour groups and private individuals. You can also browse the fine selection of gifts, including a variety of Guinea Fowl Souvenirs.
Our tasting room is open 7 days a week, Monday - Friday (09h00-17h00) and weekends (10h00-17h00). You can taste and purchase French wines from our sister property, Chateau Capion at Saxenburg.
