Our beautiful chapel, built in true gothic style, continues to be the setting of many joyous weddings and events. The cross shape and charming, stylized facade of the little chapel resonates deep symbolic, spiritual and sentimental meaning from the inside and out. The setting might just as well have been that of a rustic French cathedral dating back to the 14th century. Reminiscent of that magical time of chivalry, virtue and true romance…

Numerous candles and chandeliers decorate inside, contributing to the wonderful atmosphere. Stained glass windows dazzle and inspire as sunlight shines through their jewel-colours of cobalt blue, emerald green, yellow and ruby-red.

Even larger sized weddings can be accommodated with ample space for up to 150 guests.

Besides weddings, Shelanti Chapel may be engaged for baptisms and christening ceremonies, funerals, memorials and even for corporate presentations.

The Shelanti Venue prides itself on superb service and hepful, friendly and experienced staff to suit your every need. The Shelanti Venue offers you:

• A stylish and beautiful function hall, with air conditioning, can accommodate up to 120 guests with a dance floor, and 140 guests without a dance floor. It is wonderfully suitable for your Wedding reception, Conference or other Function.
• A Garden Venue for any occasion – a haven of peace and tranquility which can accommodate up to 70 guests
• A restaurant for smaller occasions which can accommodate up to 30 guests (excluding Saturday evenings)

The catering team at Shelanti Garden will provide you and your guests with the most delicious, fresh and visually pleasing dishes on your special day. Any special needs or preferences regarding our menus will be catered for with pleasure. We take pride not only in our romantic chapel and its surrounding gardens, but also in the wonderful selection of refreshments and meals on offer to you and your guests. All types of menus are available on request: Cold Menus, Hot menus, Breakfasts, Tea Buffets, Snack menus and even Spit Braai menus.
