Suikerbossie Restaurant has magnificent views overlooking the valley of Hout Bay with Chapman’s Peak and the bay below. The location is flanked on the west by Llandudno Beach with Table Mountain forming the backdrop to the restaurant.

Suikerbossie, the premier
wedding venue on the Atlantic Seaboard, has two venues available and hosts and caters for: corporate functions, weddings, family celebrations, conferences and Kosher functions.
THE DOWNSTAIRS VENUE
Used for larger functions, the Downstairs Venue can accommodate a minimum of 120 guests and a maximum of 300. Venue hire includes waiters, bar staff, tables, chairs, white linen, cutlery, crockery, glasses and ice.
The wedding ceremony can be held in the garden at no extra charge - gazebo, chairs, umbrellas and the use of our sound system can be utilised to announce the arrival of the bride. A bad-weather plan can be made with the ceremony taking place in the restaurant and the use of a red carpet can be made available for the bride's entrance. A log fire in our stone fireplace creates a warm and cosy atmosphere in winter.

THE UPSTAIRS VENUE
Used for smaller functions, this venue can accommodate a minimum of 50 guests or a maximum of 70. The upstairs venue caters for small, intimate functions. The upstairs venue has a bar and large deck looking over the valley.

Conferences at Suikerbossie
We offer a variety of packages to suit even the smallest conference with our Upstairs Venue seating 60 pax and Downstairs 300 pax. We will organise the hiring of equipment. Packages normally include tea, coffee and muffins on arrival (8am) with mid-morning tea, coffee and scones served at 10.30am. Lunch is a set menu with afternoon tea served at 3pm. Catering is overseen by the three qualified chefs at Suikerbossie.
The venue has been successfully operated by brothers Dave & Miki Smith since 1990. The team is completed by junior partner, Clive Biggs and manageress, Louise. Join us for breakfast, lunch or tea. On Sundays, weather permitting; we have a jumping castle for the kids.
