Tanglewood Estate is a Tudor style Castle built in 1950, set in the peaceful and exclusive Everton Conservancy.
Furnished in a mix of Antiques, Persian rugs and modern furniture, Tanglewood is truly an elegant retreat radiating comfort, warmth and luxury in true Country House tradition.
Time-honoured comfort and charm has never been so impeccably Captured as in our Formal lounge with it's huge log fireplace and French doors, leading out onto our lush English Country gardens. The outstanding gardens abound with countless variety of bird life provide a setting of pure tranquillity for our guests. .
Candelight home-cooked dinners are available on request. We accommodate catered for in-house functions and we do pre-packed breakfast in the event of early departures. A favourite pastime of most guests is to stroll through our lush garden and admire the abundant birdlife. Many claim it"s an awesome experience, and the garden is a hit with both national and international guests.
All rooms have remote controlled air-conditioning heating systems, DSTV Guest House bouquet, Tea Coffee facilities with fresh milk, Toiletries, Radio alarm clock and a Bar fridge.Laundry, shoe shine & vehicle washing for all our guests is complimentary at Tanglewood Estate.Dinners are catered for on request
Within close proximity of the estate there are guided walking trails into the gorge with small wild life and birds a plenty, for bigger game there are game reserves within easy driving distant. The valley of 1000 hills, Inanda dam and Phe Zulu are just around the corner the latter having regular performances daily.
A trip to the crocodile and snake farm is always an experience to remember and there are a profusion of curio shops for those special gifts for family and friends back home. Many tourist attractions are in close proximity to Tanglewood Estate.
For the golfing enthusiast, there are numerous golf courses and driving ranges in the near vicinity including a top designer golf course on the doorstep and the ladies need not feel left out, as there are health spas and shopping centres close at hand.
