Bar Verve

Bar Verve with its trendy ambience is perfect for a first date, a quick business meeting or just for unwinding after work. Oozing style and elegance, Bar Verve is set to become your virtual office where WIFI enables you to conduct business with a frothing cappuccino in hand. A secluded wine cellar hides behind Bar Verve and provides a sophisticated private venue suitable for wine tastings and intimate cocktail-type gatherings, with guests sipping elegant drinks and nibbling on dainty canapés.

Balata Restaurant

Seared Line fish fillet with Aubergine caviar. Braised pork belly with candied apples. Grilled rack of veal with Parmesan Potato Puree and garlic chips. Sounds mouthwatering? It certainly is! And if you haven’t tried the Fairway Bunny Chow for dessert, you are certainly in for a pleasant surprise!

Offering a variety of seating arrangements, vibrant décor colours and modern fireplaces, Balata Restaurant is famous for its outstanding breakfasts. Light business lunches are equally popular, but Balata will certainly become known for its exquisite fine dining under the leadership of Chef Warren Forster. Using the freshest produce available, all meals are served with great care and attention to detail.

Conferences

Our conference facilities are top-notch, state of the art – exactly what you would expect from a 5-star hotel overlooking the greens of one of the best golf courses in Johannesburg. A number of conference rooms and configurations are available depending on your requirements. If you want to have a strategic session with 15 of your Board Members or even 130 of your managers, we would be happy to oblige.

The Randpark I, II and III boardrooms or meeting rooms open onto the Vista Deck – with spectacular views of the golf course ideal for think tanks, or just having snacks and refreshments after a tough day of strategising. One cannot ask for a better venue for cocktail parties.

Gauteng Weddings

At the Brand new Fairway Hotel & Spa we do not have one but two divine chapels to choose from! Our exquisite Windsor Ballroom hosts up to 160 wedding guests and the wedding ceremony can be held either in the Summer or Winter Chapel. Although we recommend hosting weddings of more than 160 guests in the Randpark Golf Club adjacent to the hotel, accommodation for up to 200 guests is available at The Fairway Hotel & Spa.

Brides, grooms and bridal parties can look forward to pampering in The Fairway Spa where qualified therapists are ready to see to all your spa needs. Couples massages come highly recommended as a pre-wedding treat. Spa pamper parties are in vogue for the bridal entourage and may even include the services of the hair salon and nail bar.

The Spa has a full array of services including day packages, corporate conference packages and packages for non-golfing delegates who don’t want to be excluded from the company’s corporate golf day. All these packages can be customised to suit your specific requirements.

The luxurious Spa consists of a top class hair salon, 11 opulent treatment rooms, a wide variety of hydrotherapy offerings, a consultation lounge, an eight seater pedicure station and a café style bistro.
