Centrally located in the Breede River Winelands, guests have the opportunity to explore the beauty of the largest wine - producing district in Southern Africa. Damas is just 5 minutes’ drive from Worcester and an hour's drive from Cape Town.

Three different venues cater for many of the guests’ needs. The complex consists of Damas Restaurant, an award winning restaurant, the Ficus Conference Centre and a three star Guest House.

ACCOMMODATION

Damas Guesthouse offers stylish farm accommodation with 7 en-suite units and 2 family units in a safe environment. All units have an exquisite view of the mountains from private patios, which lead into the garden. Secure parking is close to the units. An á la carte breakfast is served in the Ficus Restaurant on the premises.

Each guest unit is individually decorated and equipped with TV, coffee and tea-making facility, heater, ceiling fan and air-conditioning. Luxury units have bar fridges and honesty bars. All rooms are wireless LAN accessible.

DINING

Damas Restaurant was originally an old farm reservoir that was transformed into this popular restaurant where guests sit below the original ground level while they enjoy reknowned cuisine and the best wines of the Breede River Valley. Menus vary from an extensive á la carte menu to a wide variety of dishes to select from for three, to five course set- or buffet menus. The tables are tastefully decorated with flowers and candles. Dimmed lights and soft music in the background create the ideal atmosphere for an enjoyable evening.

CONFERENCES

Damas provide the ideal environment for business meetings, conferences and seminars. The conference facilities include a breakaway room, TV and video/DVD, data projector, flip charts and sound equipment. The conference facilities are air-conditioned and services include a secretarial service Fax, telephone, internet and photocopying facilities available, wireless LAN accessible. A breakaway programme can be organised on request.
