Nestled in lush tropical gardens with contemporary art, infinity pools overlooking the ocean and a romantic Beauty Deck, the Lodge offers 4 big luxury Suites and a presidential Villa designed by German photographer Guido Schoeldgen. All rooms have a 180° sea view and a private terrace.
The Frangipani Lounge and Restaurant next to the bar area is the perfect spot to relax with Café Del Mar style music or projections of world class concerts. The wine cellar is Platinum awarded by Diners International and offers a wide variety of South African and international Wines and Champagnes. Light lunches and delicious dinner menus are served by the well trained staff with a smile as well as cocktails and cool drinks on the pool deck or the private terrace.

Trafalgar’s beach is protected by shark nets and provide decent waves for surfers. When the ocean is calm, it is an excellent spot for snorkelling, where you find fossilised remains of shellfish, various fish species and petrified wood. The 90 million year old fossil beds are located only a short distance from the shoreline. At spring tide you can walk out and examine the ancient remains in detail.
The Lodge is adjoining the 190 ha Mpenjati Nature Reserve whose mission is to preserve the natural environment of forest types, dune vegetation and grasslands for the benefits of the animals.
