Each cottages has percale cotton bedlinen, electric blankets, ceiling fans and high quality finishes. They are equipped with lots of extras to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
TWO Bedroom Cottage (accommodates 4 adults):
Our two-bedroom cottage has 1 bedroom with queen bed and 1 bedroom with twin beds, a separate open plan lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The spacious, modern bathroom has a romantic corner bath and separate shower. The secluded patio and private garden area is surrounded by stately tree ferns. This cottage has a TV (compact DSTV), video and DVD. Extra mattress can be added for additional children.
Studio Cottage (accommodates up to 2 adults):
The studio cottage is similarly well equipped. It consists of a large room with double bed, lounge area with sofa and open plan kitchenette. It has a modern en-suite bathroom (shower only). The kitchenette is equipped with hob, microwave and fridge. Relax under the shade of a yellow wood tree on your own private patio and garden area. This cottage has a TV (SABC), DVD and BBQbraai facilities. Extra mattress can be added for additional children.
Glengarth House is situated on the edge of the historic village of Hilton on the Midlands Meander. Woolworths Food, a SuperSpar, Clicks, etc and a range of excellent restaurants are just minutes drive away.
We can direct you to a wide range of attractions in the area.
Less than 15 minutes from Pietermaritzburg CBD and 1 hour from the Indian Ocean or Drakensberg mountains.
Golf courses, Midmar Dam, fishing and horse riding are all available in the area.
