The unique Isandlwana Lodge is carved into the iNyoni rock overlooking Mount Isandlwana, which is the site of the historic Anglo-Zulu war battle. This battle took place on the 22nd of January, 1879, in South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province.
This magnificent Lodge is within comfortable driving distance of several of South Africa’s most spectacular game reserves, enabling guests to combine enjoyment of Zululand’s rich wildlife heritage as well as the rich history of the battlefields.
Guests are invited to relax at the luxurious Isandlwana Lodge and re-live the history of both the Anglo Zulu and Anglo Boer Wars. Furthermore guests are provided with the opportunity to enjoy the vibrant culture of the modern Zulu people with a possible visit of one of the famous Zululand Game Reserves.
Isandlwana Lodge features twelve luxury rooms, which are all en-suite and tastefully decorated in a mixture of traditional and modern styles. From the comfort of the Lodge, guests can admire the unparalleled views from the crisp early light of dawn to the splendour of the African sunset.
