High on the hill overlooking the Indian Ocean: We, Ulla and Dieter Schmidt, would like to welcome you to our Guesthouse, The Hilltop B&B in Doonside, Amanzimtoti and invite you to share our hospitality and enjoy the ambiance high up on the hill overlooking the Indian Ocean.
We offer several different styles of accommodation depending on what you are looking for. We have Twin, Double and Family rooms that are en-suite with a private patio. Our rooms also come with Mini Fridge, Flat Screen TV, Basic DStv, Tea and Coffee trays, Fans, Hair Dryer and all the little things to make your stay hassle free and enjoyable.
You can relax or read a book under a huge Flamboyant tree in our beautiful, mature garden or cool off in our swimming pool after an exiting day of exploring the many attractions our area has to offer. Just off the pool is our Braai/BBQ area where you are invited to prepare your catch after a hectic day of fishing. And, when the morning comes a sumptuous Buffet Breakfast will be waiting for you.
Even though Hilltop-Durban B&B is mow 40 minutes away from the Durban International Airport and 30 minutes from Durban, it still is a superb destination for the Holiday Seeker and the Business Traveller alike.
We also offer a Transfer Service and trips to nearby and further afield points of interest
with registered vehicles and qualified drivers. For the Business Traveller we offer transfer to business meetings and venues at competitive rates.
But if adventure is what you are looking for, the South Coast has everything you can imagine: beautiful beaches, two world renowned Scuba Diving sites, Kite Surfing, Nature and much more....
For guests wanting to stay over peak seasons, please note that we have a "Minimum Stay Policy of 3 nights"
