All our cottages are made of natural stone found on the property. Each cottage has its own wooden carport build from logs cut down from the property(invasive trees}They are an open-plan design and all have deep covered stoeps. , the cottages are situated far enough from each other to ensure privacy.aloe and karee are situated next to each other ,if you 2 couples you still sleep in your own cottage ,but are still next to each other ,with your own privacy
We have 7 cottages in total. we have four 6 sleeper cottages and three 2 sleeper cottages .the three 2 sleeper cottages also have double sleeper couches in them if you want to sleep three or 4 people
Each cottage is fully equipped and totally self-sufficient, with its own en-suite bathroom, kitchen and braai area. Some cottages have fireplaces for winter.
The bathrooms have either showers, or a bath with a shower over the bath. We supply fluffy towels and soap
The beds are made up with linen consisting of sheets (both top and bottom) cotton waffle weave blankets and a duvet. In winter we supply extra blankets.
The kitchens are equipped with microwaves, fridges, cooking hobs and all the other necessary equipment needed in the preparation and consumption of meals. If your stay is longer than one night, our staff will service your cottage.
Although we are a self-catering establishment you will be provided with tea and coffee daily.
This is your chance to escape the pressures of daily life. Hide away from all communication and truly recharge your batteries. You can sit and relax on our deep stoeps, read a book, or watch the prolific bird life. All our cottages have got bird identification books in them.
