A Guest House combines 3 three of the most favorite things in life which are, hosting, cooking food and designing a home. I have always enjoyed having people round for the weekend and pampering them with good food, wine and most of all a good rest with a good company. And a guest house is the best way to do that on an ongoing bases.

This beautifully renovated old Melville House has kept the original wooden floors and pressed ceilings, but has also given the interior a new sleek modern look. The furniture and interior design has a clean cut line to it with afro chic undertones.
Your stay here will be warm and hassle free and you will get a chance to enjoy the African sun while resting by the pool, or catching up on some work on the ever welcoming patio.

House One offers accommodation in 6 Double Neo Classic rooms with a definite minimal/ethnic flavor all with own bathrooms, plenty of cupboard space and with maid service every morning to clean your room.
The rooms boast pure cotton linen, gowns, bath and pool towels as well as toiletries, and hairdryers. TV's with DSTV satellite, ceiling fans and gas heaters in each room.
We also have 2 Self catering and self contained units, which sleep up to 4 persons per unit, each unit has a full kitchen as well as a fridge, cutlery and crockery.

House Two is the newest edition to the Akuwaiseni Guest House. That brings the total of rooms up to 30. Very shick with wooden origan pine floors and pressed ceilings.
This house is also build in 1930 and here you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine on the veranda or just relax while look at the garden/birds around you. Here are 5 cottages as well, where you can do your own cooking in the evening or if you don't want to, you can have dinner with us.

Single from R750.00 including breakfast.
Double from R500.00 per person sharing including breakfast.

We have a small conference room for 16 delegates, ideal for seminars, meetings, workshops, presentations and conferences. The conference room is equipped with a white board, screen, projector, microphone & flip charts.
Conference Rates: from R285.00 per person including breakfast, lunch, tea & coffee throughout the day as well as afternoon snacks.
