Description
The house stands on a large property and set far back in its spacious gardens. Two private garages and a large courtyard provide secure parking for guests and their visitors. Islands of further gardens flank other areas. High walls provide privacy and buffer the already-minimal street noise. Tranquility is the order of the day.
Each suite is in a garden setting with easy access to the jacuzzi and barbecue ("braai") areas. The individual patios are ideal "chill-out" zones and are also wi-fi hotspots giving you broadband access.
The sunny dining room adjoins a comfortable lounge that is equipped with wide-screen TV and various games.
An excellently equipped Kitchen stands ready to serve full English breakfasts and (by arrangement) other meals, snacks, packed lunches or special diets). Although the Breakfast hours are 7 to 9a.m, in practice you'll find flexibility - in fact you might prefer to breakfast on your own patio.
The kitchen is a large "farmhouse" type, using every conceivable appliance and yet with space enough for a large snacking table...truly a touch of home! Makhaya's expert staff provides catering for delicious meals as well as parties,conferences, dinners and other functions.
Makhaya can facilitate tours to any of the places of interest listed below and will organise its popular "Goldrush Whirlwind" day-tour, which covers the most important aspects of sightseeing and desirable shopping,on request.
