The fifteen individually designed rooms portray clean and modern lines decorated with old-world furnishings that together create a marriage of luxury and comfort. Refurbished antique furniture creates a warmth and homeliness in each of the bedrooms whilst the bathroom interiors are modern and neat. Solid African Rosewood and delicate chandeliers create a beautiful rich texture befitting the heritage of this stately homestead. There is a wheelchair-friendly room as well as inter-leading rooms, ideal for visiting families.

Surrounding the majestic building are 900 olive trees in a 100 year old grove as well as indigenous Buchu, a medicinal plant native to southern Africa. The olive grove that thrives on this property today is the Duke's legacy and the Goetze family take great pride in the olive oil produced from this grove which is situated in the largest olive-producing valley in the southern hemisphere. Sample Volker's delicious olive oil and olive bread baked daily at the hotel.

In-house dining is brought to you by Volker, whose traditional dishes with signature South African flavours are well loved by guests. Experience a traditional South African "braai" (barbecue) or a delicious set menu brimming with fresh local produce and ingredients.
